What is EFT?

EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) or tapping, is a psychological energy healing technique that works like emotional acupressure to quickly, gently, and easily release the negative emotions and beliefs that are at the root of all our problems and pain.

How does it work?

EFT heals emotional problems by undoing the damage that created them to begin with. It works by temporarily focusing on the pain you are experiencing (emotional or physical) and tapping on acupressure points on the body. This technique can effectively reverse any past emotional damage. Essentially all pain comes from the past, whether it’s 5 minutes ago or 30 years ago.

Acupoint tapping sends signals directly to the stress centers of the mid-brain to significantly reduce activity in a part of your brain called the amygdala which stores all hurtful and painful experiences in your life.

Emotional Freedom Technique was developed by Gary Craig in the early 90’s who took Roger Callahan’s complex TFT (Thought Field Therapy) work and simplified it so that anyone could learn it.
